San Ignacio Resort Hotel
Established in 1976, San Ignacio Resort Hotel is a Belizean and family-owned boutique Hotel located in the Cayo District, Western Belize. The Resort is centrally situated on a 17-acre private estate and 5-minutes away of the popular San Ignacio Town—an area that features a variety of cultural, adventurous, and culinary experiences. RUNNING W RESTAURANT
The Running W Restaurant is the Hotel’s all-day dining restaurant that offers a newly remodeled air-conditioned dining hall boasting exceptional views of the hillside property. The menu is international with all the flavors and the best of Belizean cuisine featuring meats from our own family’s ranch where the restaurant got its name. Dining outdoors very often includes the visit of resident birds, including toucans that come to feed on nearby trees making for a unique “dining with the birds” experience.

Regal Rooms
Named after the Royal Visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Regal Rooms offer a bright airy ambiance and luxurious atmosphere. Each room is furnished with local paintings, sustainable Mahogany and exotic hardwood furniture. These rooms are available with one King bed or 1 Queen and 1 Double; additionally, they have a Queen-sized pullout sofa-bed.
Garden Rooms
San Ignacio Resort Hotel’s Garden Rooms offer a laid-back and relaxing feel. These rooms are equipped with a patio with personal access to a private garden area. Sit back in our hammocks and enjoy the view of tropical flowers as well as a variety of tropical birds—including Belize’s official bird, the Keel-Billed Toucan.
Balcony Rooms
Our Balcony Rooms offer a private balcony equipped with patio furniture and hammocks ideal for a relaxing getaway. These rooms overlook a garden and jungle canopy and their location near the reception desk makes them readily accessible. Balcony Rooms are available with 1 King bed; additionally a Double bed can be placed in the room if needed. All rooms are appointed with colored paintings by talented Belizean artists.
Jungle View Suite
Located on the lower hillside of the Resort and at close proximity to the pool area, the Jungle View Suite highlights a large outdoor living space with lounge chairs and dining area from which our guests can enjoy a natural jungle setting. The Suite is equipped with a Queen and Double bed in the main bedroom and a Double bed in a separate area. The room features a bathroom with double sink, a small living room, refrigerator, and a coffee station. For large families, the Jungle View Suite is available as a connecting room with the River View Suite. Guests staying in the Jungle View Suite enjoy complimentary breakfast daily (for two people) and access to the Green Iguana Conservation Project.
River View Suite
Located on the lower hillside of the Resort, the River View Suite highlights an outdoor living space with lounge chairs and dining area from which our guests can enjoy the scenic views of the Macal River and surrounding rainforest valley. The Suite has two separate sleeping spaces featuring a King poster bed in the master bedroom and, a Queen bed in a separate area. The room is equipped with a wet bar, large bathroom, and small seating area in each chamber. For large families, the River View Suite is available as a connecting room with the Jungle View Suite. Guests staying in the River View Suite enjoy complimentary breakfast daily (for two people) and access to the Green Iguana Conservation Project.
Honeymoon Suite
Our Luxury Honeymoon Suite is perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, romantic getaways, and even individuals who simply want to indulge in exquisite decadence. The Suite, furnished with hardwood floors, local art, and woven tapestries, offers views of the swimming pool area, river valley, and San Ignacio’s rainforests. To add that extra touch of luxury, the Honeymoon Suite contains a Jacuzzi and a private butler upon request. Master Suite
Experience Belizean luxury in our new Master Suite. One of the largest suites at the Hotel, this room combines stunning views with luxury and space. The Master Suite has a main living space with wet bar, sitting area, and a Queen pull out couch. The Master Bedroom contains a King sized canopy bed, a sitting area with large sliding glass doors that lead out to a spacious balcony that overlooks the pool area. This suite features the most luxurious and largest bathroom on-site, with marble finishing, vanity mirror, double sink, double shower and a private soaker Jacuzzi bathtub. Two-Bedroom Royal Suite
