Cave Tubing & Zipline

Located 37 miles up the Western Highway brings you to the Nohoch Chen Archaeological Park. The zip-line tour features an intricate harness system of pulleys on horizontal traverse cables which lets you glide 100 ‒ 750 feet between platforms up to 120 feet high in the trees at canopy level. Clients will be zipping through a series of 7 zip-line runs from 10 jungle platforms! Cave tube through the ancient Maya underworld ‒Xibalba. Clients can see intricate crystalline formations line the cave and stalagmites and stalactites magically appear out of the darkness. On several occasions they will emerge into the sunlight only to enter into another cave system.
Lamanai Temples

Lamanai is a Mesoamerican archaeological site, and was once a major city of the Maya civilization, located in the north of Belize, in Orange Walk District. The siteʼs name is pre-Columbian, recorded by early Spanish missionaries, and documented over a millennium earlier in Maya inscriptions as Lamʼanʼain. Visit the Jaguar Temple, the High Temple and the Ball court where the Maya played their famous ballgame. Be one with the Maya amid the chatter of birdlife and the haunting call of the howler monkeys. Guides also point out various trees and plants (copal, ramon, cotton, allspice) which played a major role, both medicinally and as a food source, to the Maya in ancient times.
Xunantunich & Barton Creek Caves by Canoe

Xunantunich is an ancient Maya archaeological site in western Belize, about 70 miles west of Belize City , in the Cayo District. Xunantunich is located atop a ridge above the Mopan River , well within sight of the Guatemala border ‒ which is a mere 0.6 miles to the west. It served as a Maya civic ceremonial center in the Late and Terminal Classic periods to the Belize Valley region combined with a tour of Barton Creek Cave which is a natural cave in Belize , known as both an archaeological site and as a tourist destination. It is located in the Barton Creek area near San Ignacio in the Cayo District.
Xunantunich & Cave Tubing

Xunantunich is an ancient Maya archaeological site in western Belize, about 70 miles west of Belize City , in the Cayo District. Xunantunich is located atop a ridge above the Mopan River , well within sight of the Guatemala border ‒ which is a mere 0.6 miles to the west. It served as a Maya civic ceremonial center in the Late and Terminal Classic periods to the Belize Valley region combined with a cave tubing at Caves Branch, the reserve is made up of an extensive network of limestone cave systems north of Belmopan City is popular for cave-tubing, zipline and jungle ATV. The Caves Branch River flows through 19 caves, providing ideal conditions for floating through on an inner tube or allowing for exploration of side passages that lead to other caves, such as the spectacular Crystal Cave.
Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM)

Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM Cave) is most famous as an ancient archaeological site, containing the skeletal remains of Mayan human sacrifices, pottery, and other ancient artefacts. Visitors go bananas over the fully intact skeleton from around 700-900 AD that literally sparkles, thanks to time and science. Youʼll hike to the location, wade across rushing rivers in waist-deep water, climb wet ladders inside a cave in just your socks, then enter a deep, dark hole in the side of a mountain because a tour guide told you to (and maybe pee yourself a little ‒ but thatʼs okay!). This is one of the more difficult tours offered in Belize, but the effort is well-worth the experience. ***Warning: This is not a cave for young children, those not physically fit, with knee, hip or ankle problems or with problems with claustrophobia and/or heights.
Altun Ha Temples

Altun Ha is the name given to the ruins of an ancient Mayan city in Belize about 31 miles north of Belize City and about 6.5 miles west of the shore of the Caribbean Sea. The site covers an area of about 3.1 square miles. Stones from the ruins of the ancient structures were reused for residential construction of the agricultural village of Rockstone Pond in modern times, but the ancient site did not come to the attention of archeologists until 1963. The Old Northern Highway connects Altun Ha to Belizeʼs Northern Highway , and the site is accessible for tourism. The largest of Altun Haʼs temple-pyramids, the “Temple of the Masonry Altars”, is 16 meters (52 feet) high. A drawing of this structure is the logo of Belizeʼs leading brand of beer , Belikin.

The Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center, which gives you the unique opportunity of viewing Belizeʼs prolific wildlife in one location. A sanctuary for the countryʼs indigenous species, the Belize Zoo was first created for animals that were injured, orphaned, rescued, rehabilitated or donated to the facility and which could not be returned to the wild. The Belize Zoo is now home to over 150 animals, representing over 45 species, including an impressive array of large cats, primates, reptiles and birds who reside beneath the forest canopy in natural settings.

Snorkeling at Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley

Shark Ray Alley is located at Zone D of the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Shark Ray Alley got its name after fishermen and tour operators realized that a large number of nurse sharks and rays would gather at the location to scavenge the scraps from the fish local fishermen had caught. Fishermen would clean the fish they caught at Shark Ray Alley. Today, Shark Ray Alley has evolved into one of the most popular snorkeling destinations in Belize.
Snorkeling at Mexico Rocks

Mexico Rocks is a shallow patch reef complex located off the far northern tip of Ambergris Caye , and is part of the Belize Barrier Reef system in the Caribbean Sea. The site consists of approximately 100 Holocene patch reefs clustered on a Pleistocene ridge of limestone and is composed predominantly of boulder star corals. The reef has accumulated in shallow water, about 2.5 to 5 meters (8 to 16 feet) deep, over the last 420 years, under static sea level conditions. The site was recommended for designation as a marine preserve in 978, and was approved in 2015 as a part of the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. The reef is popular among snorkelers and SCUBA divers, and it is seen as an important addition to Ambergris Cayeʼs ecotourism attractions.
Blue Hole

The Great Blue Hole is a large underwater sinkhole off Belize coastline. The hole is circular in shape, over 300 meters (984 feet) across and 125 meters (410 feet) deep. The worldʼs largest natural formation of its kind, the Great Blue Hole is part of the larger Barrier Reef Reserve System,
a World Heritage Site of UNESCO. The Great Blue Hole is a world-class destination for recreational SCUBA divers attracted by the opportunity to dive in crystal-clear waters and see myriad species of marine life including tropical fish and spectacular coral formations. The marine life in these areas includes nurse sharks, giant groupers, and several types of reef sharks such as the Caribbean reef shark and the blacktip shark.
Caye Caulker Snorkel

Caye Caulker is a small Caribbean island off the coast of Belize. Itʼs divided by a narrow channel called the Split, where thereʼs a bar and a sandy beach. Despite being diminutive in size, it packs a whole lot of personality. There are also plenty of fun things to do in Caye Caulker meaning that though itʼs tiny, youʼll never get bored. Without exception, visitors tend to fall utterly head over heels with this place. And Caye Caulker Belize is popular with a diverse crowd ranging from backpackers to wealthy expats. “Go Slow” is the islandʼs very fitting motto. In fact, it immediately tells you a lot of what you need to know about this Belizean tropical paradise.
Reef Fishing

The waters surrounding Ambergris Caye abound with a great variety of saltwater fishing and the island boasts some of the best fishing guides in the country. Most types of fish, including bonefish and tarpon, can be caught year-round. Within 15 minutes of leaving the dock, you can be fishing in tidal flats or in blue water hundreds of feet deep. Other types of fishing available upon request.
Blue Hole from the Air

Board your flight for the Blue Hole Tour and fly out to the reef! You will follow the reef wall south to historic St. Georgeʼs Caye, then head east over Turneffe Atoll, Half Moon Caye, and Lighthouse Reef Atoll to the Great Blue Hole. Make several passes of this wonder of the world, and return via Northern Two Caye and north Ambergris near Rocky Point. From there, fly down the Barrier Reef, over San Pedro town and back to your airport. Also see Turneffe Atoll, Glovers Reef, the Booby Bird Sanctuary, shipwrecks, manatees and other animals and points of interest.
