Location
Within the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve located in the Cayo District of Western Belize on a private 7,200 acre estate.
Situated at an altitude of over 2000 ft / 610m.
Facilities & Amenities
Guests enjoy exclusive access to 90 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails as well as many secluded pools and waterfalls set in a tropical rainforest. The lodge also has a swimming pool and hot tub. For those needing to stay in touch, a satellite connection provides high speed internet access. The resort is the only accommodation in this private reserve and all the trails and waterfalls, hot tub, pool and restaurant are exclusive to the resident guests.
Rooms
The hotel is comprised of a central lodge surrounded by only 12 cottages. The cottages have ceiling fans and screened windows. All rooms feature en suite bathrooms with hot water, brick fireplaces, handcrafted mahogany furnishings and elegant décor.
Each stand consists of two adjoining cottages each with its own entrance (the Estate Rooms do not have an inter-leading door within the room). All rooms are non-smoking.
Estate Rooms: One bedroom unit with vaulted ceilings, private shower / bath, sitting area, writing desk and fireplace. 246 sq. ft. / 23 sq. meters. 5 units with Queen beds, 5 units with King beds. Each holds up to 3 guests (third guest accommodated on an additional single bed)
Estate Suites: One bedroom unit, screened in patio and hammocks, private bathroom with double vanity unit and claw foot bathtub, private outside waterfall themed shower, sitting area, writing desk and fireplace. 246 sq. ft. / 23 sq. meters plus additional screened in patio of 232 sq. ft. / 21.5 sq. meters. Only two units available, one with a Queen bed, one with a King bed, each holding up to 3 guests (third guest accommodated on an additional single bed). This unit is available as two separate units or as one shared unit suitable for family or friends traveling together. Suites are connected by the private screened patios with sliding door; patio door can be opened to allow a shared area.
